Standard terms and conditions for events
Sircula Limited (“we”) accept bookings from delegates (“you”) for places at our events on the following terms and conditions.
Accommodation
1.1 Accommodation is not included in the delegate fee. For more information please contact the event management team.
Access and dietary requirements
2.1 If you have any specific access or dietary requirements please contact the event management team.
Confirmation
3.1 Once we have received confirmation of your booking, we will send you an email confirmation. A VAT invoice will be sent out to you by email shortly after if you have selected this method of payment.
3.2 We must receive payment prior to the event date. If you have not received confirmation of your booking within 14 days of the event, please contact the Event management team as we may not have received your booking. We cannot be held responsible for the non-arrival of information.
3.3 Whilst in attendance at the event, if we reasonably consider that your behaviour is inappropriate, disruptive, offensive, dangerous or illegal, we may ban you from further participation in the event without a refund.
Discounts
4.1 Discount codes must be applied at the time of booking and cannot be applied once the booking has been processed. Only one type of discount can be used per booking.
Cancellation
5.1 Payment for the event must be received before the event date.
5.2 Cancellations must be made in writing and submitted by email to bookings@sircula.com
Cancellations received up to one calendar month prior to the event date will be subject to a handling and administration charge of £50 + VAT per delegate, which will be deducted from any due refund or invoice, whichever is appropriate.
5.3 Should you need to cancel your registration less than 30 days before the first day of the event, the registration fee remains payable in its entirety, although a substitute delegate will be accepted and available event presentation slides will be provided after the event (recordings will be provided for online event bookings only). Non-payment or non-attendance (online or in-person) does not constitute a cancellation. Substitutions made on the day of the event are at our discretion only. If you purchased an in-person event ticket and can no longer attend in-person, you can request an online viewing login instead at no extra cost, please email bookings@sircula.com
5.4 We reserve the right to make changes to the programme, format, location and/or speakers without prior notice.
5.5 We may change the date or cancel a Event at any time for any reason. Where we change the date or cancel the Event for any reason except due to a Force Majeure Event (in which case the terms of Condition 4.6 shall apply) we shall offer you the option of attending any rearranged Event that we choose to organise. If we are promptly notified in writing before the date of the Event that you do not wish to attend the rearranged Event or if we elect not to rearrange the Event then you will (as your sole remedy) be entitled, at your discretion, to receive a full refund in respect of your fees we have received.
5.6 Where a Force Majeure Event has or may have an adverse impact on: (i) the ability to hold the Event at the planned venue or on the planned date; or (ii) the Event generally, then we shall be entitled but not obliged to either: (i) provide alternative facilities, formats (such as online) or venue for the Event; and/or (ii) reschedule the Event. Any fees we receive from you shall be applied to any rearranged or rescheduled Event held pursuant to this Condition 4.6 and you shall not be entitled to object to such rearranged or rescheduled Event or have any right to claim any compensation in respect thereof. Payment terms will remain the same and payment will be due by the original date of the rescheduled event, cancellation terms will also apply in respect of the original date. Please be aware there are no refunds, if the advertised tickets to the rescheduled event date are of a lower value to the original booking. If we are unable or elect not to rearrange or reschedule the Event pursuant to this Condition 4.6, then you will (as its sole remedy) be entitled, in your sole discretion, to receive a full refund in respect to the fees we received from you. For the purpose of this Condition 4.6 “Force Majeure Event” means any event arising that is beyond the reasonable control of Sircula Limited including (without limitation) to speaker or participant cancellation or withdrawal, supplier or contractor failure, venue damage or cancellation, health scares, industrial dispute, governmental regulations or action, military action, fire, flood, disaster, civil riot, acts of terrorism or war. These terms and conditions shall apply in respect of any rearranged or rescheduled Event we organise pursuant to this Condition 4.6.
5.7 To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable to you for any loss, delay, damage or other liability incurred, resulting from or arising in connection with, the cancellation of the Event, or industrial action, howsoever arising, including but not limited to hotel costs, flight and transport/travel costs, and/or other transfer costs associated with the Event.
Substitutions and name changes
6.1 Substitutions are acceptable at any time. To inform us of a name change, please email bookings@sircula.com and include the name and date of the event, the original delegate name and company name followed by the substitute delegate name, telephone number and email address.
We regret that we are not able to transfer places between events.
Event recordings
7.1 The content (of each event recording) is the property of the individual author and the event recordings are the property of d&i Leaders (part of Sircula Ltd). Event recordings are intended for personal viewing for CPD purposes only, for those individuals who purchased tickets or online access. Neither the content or the recording may be used for any other purpose without specific written permission or shared with anyone who has not purchased access.
Liability
8.1 Any opinions expressed or statements made by speakers or delegates at the event are in their personal capacities and are not made or expressed on our behalf.
8.2 Except in the case of death or personal injury caused by our negligence or that of persons for whose acts or omissions we are legally liable, we will not be liable to you for any loss or damage of any kind, whether direct, indirect or consequential, which you may suffer at or in relation to the event, and our aggregate liability to you will in any case be limited to the amount you have paid to us.
Privacy
9.1 Your details are collected by this event’s organiser, Sircula Ltd, to process your purchase, deliver our events and communicate to you as a customer of our services. This will include notice for the next year of this event and the promotion of similar products and services by post, email and/or phone. We will only send information that we think is relevant to you and you can unsubscribe at any time.
